1. Welcome to the COPIC Community
Welcome to COPIC.
COPIC is a professional digital marketplace that connects clients with workers in a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment. Our goal is to make it easier for people to find work opportunities and for clients to find reliable workers while promoting honesty, professionalism, and mutual respect.
These Community Guidelines explain the standards of behavior expected from every person who uses the COPIC Platform. They are designed to protect our users, encourage positive interactions, and maintain a safe marketplace for everyone.
These Guidelines apply to all users of the Platform, including clients, workers, visitors, businesses, and anyone communicating through COPIC.

Profiles, qualifications, job descriptions, work history, reviews, and communications should accurately represent reality.

Everyone deserves respectful communication regardless of:

ethnicity;
religion;
disability;
gender;
profession;
education;
work experience.

COPIC is a professional marketplace.
Users should communicate politely, respond within reasonable timeframes, honor commitments, and conduct themselves appropriately.

Every profile, message, job posting, application, review, payment confirmation, and uploaded document should reflect responsible conduct.
Mistakes happen, but users are expected to address them honestly and respectfully.
Safety
The safety of our community is one of our highest priorities.
Users should never place themselves or others at unnecessary risk.
If something appears suspicious, users should report it immediately through COPIC's reporting tools.
4. Respectful Communication
Communication on COPIC should remain courteous, constructive, and professional.

responding professionally;
asking questions respectfully;
providing constructive feedback;
resolving disagreements calmly;
thanking others for their time.
Users should avoid:
insults;
offensive language;
personal attacks;
intimidation;
threats;
repeated unwanted messages;
excessive use of capital letters intended to shout;
abusive comments;
humiliating another user publicly.
Healthy disagreement is acceptable.
Personal abuse is not.
Remember that every message reflects your professionalism.
5. Honest Profiles
Your profile represents you.
It should accurately describe:
your name;
your skills;
your experience;
your education;
your certifications;
your work history;
your profile photograph where applicable.
Users must not:
use fake names;
impersonate another person;
upload misleading photographs;
claim qualifications they do not possess;
exaggerate skills;
falsify work experience;
upload forged certificates;
create duplicate profiles.
Clients rely on profile information when making hiring decisions.
Dishonest profiles undermine trust across the Platform.
COPIC may request verification of profile information where necessary.
6. Honest Job Listings
Clients are expected to publish genuine opportunities.
Every job listing should clearly explain:
the work required;
the expected responsibilities;
required skills;
working conditions;
payment arrangements;
expected timelines.
Clients should avoid:
misleading titles;
unrealistic promises;
hidden conditions;
exaggerated earnings;
vague descriptions;
intentionally incomplete information.
Jobs must not be posted for the purpose of:
collecting personal information;
promoting scams;
recruiting for illegal activities;
misleading workers;
advertising unrelated products or services.
Workers deserve accurate information before deciding whether to apply.
7. Honest Job Applications
Workers should apply only for positions they are genuinely interested in and reasonably capable of performing.
Applications should honestly reflect:
relevant experience;
qualifications;
skills;
availability.
Workers should not:
submit false qualifications;
copy another person's application;
impersonate another applicant;
apply using fake identities;
submit AI-generated documents presented as genuine personal experience without review;
apply to intentionally disrupt another user.
Clients appreciate honest applications because they save time and help create successful working relationships.
If your experience is limited, it is better to be truthful than to exaggerate your abilities.
8. Communication Standards
Professional communication is essential to building trust within the COPIC community.
Users are expected to communicate clearly, honestly, and respectfully at all times.
Good communication includes:
responding within a reasonable time where possible;
asking questions politely;
providing accurate information;
explaining concerns respectfully;
remaining patient during disagreements;
informing the other party if plans change;
using language appropriate for a professional environment.
Users should avoid:
sending repeated unwanted messages;
pressuring another user to respond immediately;
using threatening or intimidating language;
making false accusations;
deliberately provoking arguments;
sharing offensive jokes or inappropriate content;
sending excessive promotional messages.
Communication should remain focused on legitimate work-related matters while using the Platform.
9. Harassment and Bullying
COPIC has zero tolerance for harassment or bullying.
Every user has the right to feel safe while using the Platform.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
repeated unwanted contact;
threats;
intimidation;
stalking;
insulting comments;
humiliation;
personal attacks;
offensive nicknames;
verbal abuse;
aggressive behavior intended to frighten another user.
Bullying includes:
repeatedly targeting another user;
encouraging others to harass someone;
spreading harmful rumors;
attempting to damage another person's reputation through false statements;
intentionally embarrassing another user.
Users experiencing harassment should report the behavior immediately.
COPIC may remove offending content, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who engage in harassment or bullying.
10. Anti-Discrimination
COPIC believes that everyone deserves equal respect and opportunity.
Users must not discriminate against others on the basis of:
race;
colour;
nationality;
ethnic origin;
religion;
disability;
age;
gender;
marital status;
pregnancy;
political opinion where protected by law;
any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
Examples of prohibited discrimination include:
refusing to consider qualified candidates solely because of a protected characteristic;
posting discriminatory job advertisements unless legally justified;
making offensive remarks about protected groups;
encouraging hatred toward any community.
Professional decisions should always be based on legitimate qualifications, skills, experience, and lawful business requirements.
11. Professional Conduct

maintain appropriate behaviour throughout the hiring process.
Clients should:
provide clear instructions;
communicate expectations honestly;
treat workers respectfully;
respond professionally to reasonable questions.
Workers should:
complete accepted work to the best of their ability;
communicate delays promptly;
behave professionally during interactions;
protect confidential information obtained through their work.
Professional conduct strengthens trust throughout the community.
12. Workplace Safety
Safety should always come before convenience.
Clients should not require workers to perform unlawful or unreasonably dangerous tasks.
Workers should never feel pressured to:
break the law;
work in unsafe conditions;
surrender personal documents unnecessarily;
perform duties that were intentionally hidden from the original job description.
Users are encouraged to discuss safety expectations before work begins.
If a job appears dangerous or suspicious, users should decline the opportunity and report it to COPIC.
COPIC reserves the right to remove listings that appear to expose users to unreasonable risks.
13. Fraud Prevention
Fraud harms everyone in the community.
COPIC expects every user to help maintain a trustworthy marketplace.
Examples of fraud include:
fake identities;
forged documents;
stolen photographs;
fake qualifications;
fake job listings;
payment scams;
identity theft;
forged payment confirmations;
impersonation;
account takeovers.
Users should never:
knowingly assist fraudulent activity;
provide false verification information;
encourage scams;
help another person bypass Platform rules.
If you suspect fraud, report it immediately.
Providing accurate reports helps protect the wider COPIC community.
14. Identity Verification
Identity verification helps maintain trust on the Platform.
Where verification is required, users should:
provide genuine government-issued identification;
submit accurate information;
ensure uploaded images are clear and unaltered;
cooperate with reasonable verification requests.
Users must never:
upload forged identification;
submit another person's documents;
alter identification photographs;
generate fake identity documents using artificial intelligence or image editing software;
attempt to bypass verification procedures.
Verification information is reviewed to improve Platform security and reduce fraudulent activity.
COPIC reserves the right to reject verification requests where authenticity cannot reasonably be confirmed.
15. Payment Conduct
Users should conduct all payment-related activities honestly and responsibly.
Clients should:
honour agreed payment obligations;
avoid intentionally delaying payment;
communicate honestly regarding payment issues.
Workers should:
acknowledge payments accurately;
avoid requesting payments through deceptive means;
provide truthful information regarding work completion.
Neither party should:
submit false payment confirmations;
manipulate payment records;
attempt to obtain money through deception;
misuse refund procedures.
Payment disputes should be resolved respectfully and supported by relevant evidence whenever possible.
16. Reviews and Ratings
Reviews help maintain trust across the Platform.
Users are encouraged to leave honest, fair, and constructive reviews based on genuine experiences.
Reviews should:
be truthful;
remain respectful;
relate directly to the completed interaction;
avoid offensive language.
Users must not:
submit fake reviews;
exchange positive reviews for incentives;
threaten negative reviews to pressure another user;
publish knowingly false information.
COPIC may remove reviews that violate these Guidelines or are determined to be fraudulent.
17. Confidentiality
Users may gain access to confidential information during work or communication.
Confidential information may include:
business records;
customer information;
financial information;
internal procedures;
trade secrets;
private contact details.
Users should:
protect confidential information;
use it only for its intended purpose;
avoid sharing it without authorization.
Unauthorized disclosure of confidential information may result in enforcement action.
18. Intellectual Property
Respect the creative work of others.
Users should only upload content they own or have permission to use.
Users must not:
copy another person's work without permission;
upload stolen photographs;
reproduce copyrighted material unlawfully;
misuse another company's logo or trademark;
falsely claim ownership of another person's work.
Where copyright or trademark complaints are received, COPIC may remove the disputed content while the matter is reviewed.
Repeated infringement may result in permanent account restrictions.
19. Privacy
Every user deserves privacy.
Users should respect another person's personal information.
Users must not:
publish another person's address without permission;
disclose private phone numbers;
share identification documents;
distribute confidential communications;
collect personal information for unrelated purposes.
Respecting privacy helps create a safer community for everyone.
20. Platform Security
Every user contributes to Platform security.
Users should:
protect their passwords;
report suspicious activity;
enable available security features;
keep account information secure.
Users must not:
attempt unauthorized access;
interfere with Platform systems;
introduce malicious software;
exploit software vulnerabilities;
disrupt Platform operations.
Responsible behaviour helps protect every member of the COPIC community.
